I came into music therapy with safiya not knowing exactly what to expect, since it was my first time trying this form of therapy. Having experience with other form of therapy, I found music therapy to be a way to get to the root of things, overcoming once and for all - the origins of patterns, music has this way to heal (when done right) and to renew the mind, through sound bringing light to unaddressed areas and also speak life to what seem barren at some point. My experience is of one that is now walking in freedom.
